Become a Girl Scout! Girl Scouts meet in the cafeteria on Monday from 3:10-4:15. The program runs from September to May. See the Girl Scout brochure for more information.

Sign Language Club

Sign language club is for both students and parents who are interested in learning basic sign language. The club will run from January through March and will meet one time per week for an hour. More details to come!

Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run (GOTR) is a program developed for girls in grades 3-5 in which running is used to inspire and motivate girls, encourage lifelong health and fitness, and build confidence through accomplishment. At the end of the season, the girls and their running buddies complete a 5k running event which gives them a tangible sense of achievement as well as a framework for setting and achieving life goals.

The Girls on the Run meet at Jane Addams School on Monday and Thursday from 3:15 to 4:30. The season runs from March through May. More details will be provided in February of 2017.


After School Tutoring

The purpose of the Title I After-School Tutoring Programs is to provide extended learning for students who are at risk of not meeting grade level academic standards in literacy and math. Sessions will be composed of reading and/or math lessons for students in 2nd -5th grades. Please contact the Principal Frank Mikl at [email protected] for more information.


IMSA Fusion is a 4th and 5th grade student enrichment program that incorporates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Participants engage in activities that encourage problem solving, critical thinking, and cooperative learning.  The program is designed for children who excel in math and science.
