Jane Addams Votes for District #89's New Mascot

This week, our Panthers had the opportunity to exercise their right to vote! From our youngest to our oldest, scholars came out to the “polls” to cast their vote for District #89’s new mascot. Scholars learned about the electoral process and the importance of voting.

They were able to cast their vote between a lightbulb to represent learning and knowledge, a heart to represent kindness and taking care of each other, and a puzzle piece to represent belonging and community.
